During the Semester break, we had the opportunity to have a gym lesson in the school gym room of the Akademische Gymnasium. The Aunties prepared fun games and stations for the groups with all the equipment that is usually used for artistic gymnastics. You would be surprised what our Playschool Aunties came up with.
The children could train various skills like self – evaluation, assessing their own motor skills and many more. The children were very brave, trying new things and challenged themselves.
The children reacted differently during that special gym lesson. Some observed the others first to gain confidence and try it themselves, while others jumped in straight away.
In the end, everyone turned into a real explorer, testing what they can do and training their gross – motor skills.
It was so much fun, so of course the children asked the Playschool Aunties when we would go again.
