Hello parents, how is everyone today? I hope that everyone had a lovely Easter break with lots of love.\u00a0 Today I\u2019ve an exercise that helps the little ones develop their awareness abilities, improving their mind to body connection. It`s super easy, just pop on some relaxing music and have the children lie on their backs on the floor. All you have to do is read the following, and of course you don\u2019t have to stick with these instructions, get creative and say what feels natural for you in the moment! Let\u2019s begin!<\/span><\/p>\n

Tense and let go<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \"\"Close your eyes and take a big breath into your nose on the count of 3<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Hold that for 2 seconds, count in your head<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Let the air out through your mouth with a loud AHHHHHHHHH<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Squeeze your toes on your right foot, as tight as you can<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Hold it for 5 seconds and notice how it feels then let go<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Let all your toes relax now<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Now we will make a strong fist with our left hand, squeezing it as tight as possible for 5 seconds<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Can you feel how tight your hand fees? Does your arms also fee strong?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Let go, relax all your fingers and feel how nice that feels to completely let go and relax<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Can you notice how different it feels when we tense and let go?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Take a big breath in through the nose on the count of 3, hold for 2 seconds and let all the air out with a loud AHHHHHHH<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Open your eyes and sit back up<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This exercise is all about comparing and contrasting between tension and relaxation. Through this comparing, the little ones can learn to identify when they feel tense in real life situations, and let it go. Helping them become their own little self-efficient relaxation guru!<\/span><\/p>\n

    225g plain chocolate, broken into pieces<\/span><\/p>\n

    2 tbsp honey<\/span><\/p>\n

    50g butter<\/span><\/p>\n

    75g cornflakes<\/span><\/p>\n

    Mini egg sweets for decoration (chocolate, marzipan etc)<\/span><\/p>\n

    Method:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

    • Line a 12 hole muffin tin with cake cases<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Melt the chocolate, honey and butter in a bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      (do NOT allow the water to boil!)<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Stir the mixture until smooth<\/span><\/li>\n
      • A grown up should remove the bowl from the pan (careful HOT)<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Gently stir in the cornflkes, until coated with the chocolate mixture<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Divide the mixture between the cake cases<\/span><\/li>\n
      • \u00a0Press 2 of the mini egg sweets into the centre of each nest<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours, until set<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Enjoy!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Maximilian war flei\u00dfig und wir haben an unseren Kalenderbl\u00e4ttern weitergearbeitet. F\u00fcr April haben wir einen Fu\u00dfabdruck gemacht und von der kleinen Schwester einen Fu\u00df und Handabdruck- Hasengesicht.<\/p>\n

          F\u00fcr den Fu\u00dfabdruck ben\u00f6tigt man au\u00dfer der Farbe ein kleines St\u00fcck Stoff und etwas Watte oder Schafswolle.<\/p>\n

            • -Verwenden Sie beliebige Gegenst\u00e4nde (LEGO Steine, Spielzeugautos,..). Ihr Kind soll nun versuchen, auf einen Blick die Anzahl zu erkennen und diese nennen. Ver\u00e4ndern Sie die Anzahl, evtl. Tempo erh\u00f6hen (auf Schnelligkeit)<\/span><\/li>\n
            • -Erz\u00e4hlen Sie Ihrem Kind ein Bilderbuch, danach wiederholen Sie gemeinsam mit Ihrem Kind\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 den Inhalt der Geschichte. Stellen Sie Ihrem Kind Fragen zum Inhalt (Bsp. \u201eH\u00e4nsel und\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gretel\u201c- Wie hei\u00dft der Bruder von Gretel? Womit legt H\u00e4nsel eine Spur, damit sie wieder\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 nach Hause finden? Wer lockt die Geschwister ins Pfefferkuchenhaus? Welche Farbe hat das\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kleid von Gretel?)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
            • lustige Reime\/ Zungenbrecher lernen<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Auftr\u00e4ge erteilen (Bsp.: Hole mir bitte 5 Stifte- 2 rote und 3 gr\u00fcne\/ Bringe mir bitte eine Schere, ein Blatt Papier und 3 verschiedenfarbige Stifte\/…)<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Formen in R\u00e4umen suchen lassen (Zeige\/ Bringe mir 3 Gegenst\u00e4nde in der Form eines Quadrats\/ Kreises\/ Dreiecks\/..<\/span><\/li>\n
            • Basteln\/ Falten\/ Puzzle bauen- darauf achten, dass die Aktivit\u00e4t zu Ende gebracht wird\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
